How would you keep people from wandering onto Novartis Campus from the adjacent park without seeming unfriendly?Alan Fletcher's idea was to create a wall of such entertaining imagery that people would feel respected by the effort to engage them, while being delighted to remain where they are. Andrew Davidson complied the imagery. Our job was production, which involved careful technical modifications to each sharp edge or negative space so that no little fingers or toes might accidently get caught or harmed. Then we had the 5 panels lasered out of 10mm thick steel, painted according to Fletcher's scheme, and mounted.
